Vertiv is looking for a Procurement Systems Manager in Westerville, OH to interpret business process and information requirements and manages the technical configuration and deployment process within the company systems to enable business capabilities. The primary objective for this position is to implement solutions in compliance with technical standards and to maximize information value delivered from the company systems while managing ongoing adoption, ordinary instance dynamics and strategic changes in the business’s operating model. This role possesses important group leadership skills and provides technical advice and guidance. These skills are intended to increase our group leadership capacity and technical skills. Using their in-depth knowledge and experience this person can resolve complex problems that do not have routine solutions. They are capable of working independently with minimal supervision and can lead large projects. This person is recognized as providing best practices and quality control within the team.
Expand the breadth of the Analyst coverage across the Procurement team (specific areas detailed below under responsibilities) Master all Procurement ERP systems and data sources to become a “go-to” resources for the Americas Procurement team.
Perform business process analysis and own the design and improvement of new and existing tools and processes to support business decisions.
Regularly review reporting, make recommendations for necessary changes and implement improvements.
Effectively resolve roadblocks to collection of complete and accurate data and adoption of tools.
Identify data integrity issues and lead cross functional efforts to develop processes to resolve discrepancies.
Using data analysis methods, develop recommendations to leadership for improvements in reporting, KPI’s and risk management.
Create mapping of interactions and responsibilities between Procurement, Operations, and IT
Working with a cross-functional team, identify and resolve issues impacting KPI’s.
Collaborate with other regions on global system and process improvements
Responsibilities
Be the liaison between IT and Procurement on all systems that Procurement uses, iSave, Oracle PD Cloud, Oracle Alice, Zycus and Datazen
Provide subject matter expertise in Oracle Alice EBS for Americas Procurement Team
Collect and analyze business requirements for Oracle Alice EBS pertaining to Procurement
Become expert on Oracle to provide training and perform updates and update processes as needed.
Lead the onboarding of new sites onto Oracle Alice and provide required support.
Support in the creation of business requirement documents and other functional and technical documentations.
Assist in design, development, testing and implementation of system enhancement projects.
Provide suggestions to optimize utilization of applications for optimal performance.
Resolve technical and operational problems in a timely fashion.
Identify functional gaps and provide corrective actions.
Support project team in developing reports, tables, fields, data interfaces and application extensions.
Develop testing scenarios and write test scripts.
Develop user guides and training materials.
Education & Certifications
Bachelor’s degree in data analytics, supply chain management, Computer Science, or related field. MBA a plus.
2+ Year experience with ERP system management, preferable Oracle Alice EBS
Implementation experience with ERP software
Minimum of four years of analytical experience performing detailed analyses.
Experience in defining, scoping and implementing projects.
Advanced knowledge of SharePoint, Excel, PowerPoint, and Power BI along with experience in writing queries to access information from relational database management systems.
