Optical Networking Verification Tester (Multiple )

SALARY RANGE: $115,840 - $ 163,800 per year WORK SCHEDULE: 40 hours per week, M-F (9:00 a.m.5:00 p.m.) JOB REQUIREMENTS: Bachelors degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Systems, Engineering, Telecommunications, Information Systems or a related field, and 3 years of related work experience.

Or a Masters degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Systems, Engineering, Telecommunications, Information Systems or a related field, and 1 year of related work experience.

Of the required experience, must have 1 year of experience with the following: Data networking protocols and technologies, including layer 2 ethernet switching and layer 3 protocols on metro ethernet switches and core routers; Telecom optical specifications and standards; Testing quality and validation of functionality of DWDM Optical Transport networking systems, Routers, Carrier Ethernet switches, IP DSLAM, IP or TDM networks; Automation tools/Automation framework development using the languages Python, Perl and Shell; and, Integration, testing, and troubleshooting of the 4G/5G network.

Telecommuting from a location within commuting distance of Murray Hill, NJ may be permitted up to 40%. Employer will accept any suitable combination of experience of education, training or experience.
