About The Role & Team:
It’s the Sales Strategy team’s mission to profitability maximize our Domestic Leisure Sales channel distribution for Domestic Parks and Disney Signature Experiences. As a Sales Strategy Manager, you will lead key stakeholders to deliver domestic business opportunities and strategic recommendations, based on consumer and market insights, and operational feasibility. You will be in one of the most visible manager-level roles available in the organization and have significant strategic responsibility supporting Domestic Parks and Disney Signature Experiences. Along with managing delivery of sales strategies, you would help foster an energizing culture of excellence, encouragement, and ownership.
The Sales Strategy Manager will report to the Sr Manager-Sales Strategy & Integration.
This is a Full-Time position.
What You Will Do:
Lead development of sales channel distribution strategies, guided by data and consumer insights, to drive significant direct revenue and Operating Income contribution to supported Disney Experiences sites
Project manage development of sales channel strategies and recommendations including leading partners and processes to ensure comprehensive, thorough and thoughtful solutions are put forward
Think outside the box to develop new sales programs, reimagine base business models, and champion sales technology capabilities that shape the future of sales distribution strategies for Disney Experiences
Represent Domestic Leisure Sales’ sales channels in cross-functional forums and project teams providing leadership/guidance on sales needs and strategic business impacts
Build sales strategy recommendations into decks and present to stakeholders including Senior Executive audience
Champion a culture of excellence, collaboration, diversity, and innovation with the Sales Strategy & Integration team
Required Qualifications & Skills:
At least 2 years of experience in business consulting, sales strategy, marketing strategy, product development, or financial analysis / analytical role or similar
Strong financial acumen with ability to decipher complex business models and profitable strategies
An entrepreneurial spirit driving innovative ideas and challenging the status quo
Ability to create compelling presentations and visualizations for executive audiences under tight timelines
Ability to build trust, influence others, and navigate ambiguity
Proven ability to manage a heavy workload with competing priorities
Proven ability to project management multiple projects, simultaneously, with varying stakeholders
Must work well in a fast-paced business and display professionalism and confidence in complex situations
Advanced proficiency in use of Microsoft Office programs (PowerPoint, Word, Outlook and Excel)
Preferred Qualifications:
Previous travel and/or hospitality industry experience in a sales or marketing role
Knowledge of Disney Parks, Experiences, & Products
Required Education:
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in a business field (e.g. Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Marketing, Industrial Engineering)
Preferred Education:
Master's Degree in Business Administration (MBA)
