Job Summary and Essential Job Duties:
The Optimax Program Manager is responsible for adherence to Optimax policies, processes, and methodologies. The program manager will be responsible for leading and managing programs to deliver the agreed scope within planned quality, time and cost parameters to satisfy the specified requirements and drive for customer and stakeholder satisfaction throughout the program life cycle. This position will also motivate the whole team to deliver the business case and margins expected.
The Program Manager responsibilities include:
Daily program management throughout the program life cycle;
Defining the program requirements and governance (controls), managing scope and deliverables.
Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, budgets, resources, and milestones.
Coordinate with engineering, manufacturing, and quality teams to ensure smooth project execution. Track progress against these plans.
Identify potential risks early in the project lifecycle and develop strategies to mitigate them.
Managing the program’s budget;
Coordinating the projects that make up the program and their interdependencies;
Managing the main program documentations such as the program initiation document.
Work with quality assurance teams to address technical and product quality issues promptly
Act as the main point of contact between customers, internal teams, and upper management.
Communicate project status, risks, and issues to stakeholders regularly.
Manage customer expectations and maintain strong customer relationships
Education Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in in related engineering, Optical Engineering preferred
At least three years of related experience required.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch: and talk and hear.
The job may involve prolong periods of sitting/standing.
Work Environment:
This position works in a manufacturing environment. The noise level can vary from quiet to loud frequencies.
Prolonged periods sitting at a desk on a computer.
Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
