JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Design and Development: Design, develop, and analyze RF systems and components for defense and aerospace applications, including transmitters, receivers, amplifiers, and frequency converters.
Testing and Evaluation: Conduct testing and evaluation of RF systems and components to ensure compliance with performance specifications, quality standards, and regulatory requirements.
Troubleshooting and Problem Solving: Identify and resolve technical issues related to RF systems, including signal interference, noise, power limitations, and performance optimization.
Documentation: Prepare technical documentation, including system specifications, test plans, reports, and design documentation, to support development, manufacturing, and maintenance activities.
Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including electrical engineers, mechanical engineers, software engineers, and project managers, to ensure successful integration of RF systems into larger defense and aerospace platforms.
Compliance and Standards: Stay updated with relevant industry standards, regulations, and best practices related to RF engineering in the defense and aerospace sector.
REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, RF Engineering, or a related field.
RF Design Tools: Proficiency in using RF design and simulation tools, such as MATLAB, AWR Microwave Office, CST Microwave Studio, or similar software.
RF Systems and Components: Strong understanding of RF systems, components, and technologies, including RF circuit design, microwave engineering, modulation techniques, and electromagnetic theory.
Testing and Measurement Equipment: Experience with RF testing and measurement equipment, such as network analyzers, spectrum analyzers, signal generators, and oscilloscopes.
Problem Solving and Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze complex RF system performance issues, troubleshoot problems, and propose effective solutions.
Communication and Collaboration: Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, and the ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary teams.
