UCan do all this and more at UCLA Health.Join our innovative team as an Image Analyst (SRAII) in the Clinical Quantitative Image Analysis and 3D Visualization Service! In this role, you'll process imaging datasets from modalities like X-ray, CT, MR, and PET, creating high-quality 3D reconstructions that reveal complex anatomical relationships and pathologies.
Collaborating with senior staff, you'll utilize advanced techniques such as surface shaded display and volume rendering, while also contributing to problem-solving and training new team members. This position requires flexibility for evenings, weekends, and holidays and will rotate between Westwood and Santa Monica.

Salary:$28.88 - $46.46 hourly
Qualifications
Required:
Have working knowledge of or ability to learn various workstations (e.g., Vitrea, Osirix, Visage, Syngo, and others) to process and generate high quality 3D, multi-planar and angiographic images.
Have working knowledge of or ability to learn dedicated CAD packages for quantitative analyses and other tissue- or organ-specific processing (e.g., DynaCAD, iCAD, Profuse, and others).
Reliable self-starting and self-directed nature; excellent work ethic and service attitude.
Attentive to detail and have knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy and medical terminology.
Excellent communication skills and ability to interact with a wide range of faculty and staff.
Excellent ability to perform a variety of duties with frequent interruptions and to work effectively under conditions of fluctuating workload.
Knowledge of Windows and Mac platforms, Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, MS Teams and Zoom.
Ability to acquire new technical skills and assume responsibility for new tasks.
Skill in setting priorities, which accurately reflects importance of job responsibilities.
Demonstrated ability to write clear, concise, and grammatically correct letters, memos, and emails.
Ability to work semi-independently as well as collaborate with other professional colleagues.
Ability to perform desk-based computer tasks continuously.
Familiarity with internet software, browser, FTP, etc. Be able to troubleshoot.
Bachelor's degree or higher preferred.
