We are seeking an Account Executive to support our Ecommerce team. The Account Executive supports the Director and Manager with retailer project execution. Duties on the Ecommerce team will vary by project and include supporting meeting coordination/scheduling, meeting recaps, vendor communications, creative brief writing, project management, and budget/finance support. The Account Executive responsibilities are inclusive of execution for both managed service and self-service (for on and offsite display) campaigns as retailer needs dictate. Additionally, they will be Hands to Keys when needed to set up and monitor programs for limited retail partners.

As assigned, the AE supports and executes budget management, campaign performance monitoring/recaps and advertiser portfolio analysis. The Account Executive owns other duties as assigned by the Manager or Director.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Build productive relationships and communications with cross-functional teams (i.e., answer questions/provide direction) to keep projects moving forward

Support project recaps and summaries as requested

Develop knowledge of assigned brand or retailer brand positioning(s), understanding competitors, short- and long-term goals, consumer/shopper targets and marketing strategies

Tactically support programs (development of timelines, trafficking and review of materials, estimation of costs, etc.

Manage and support projects effectively from start to finish

Support budget management ensuring estimates and actuals are managed to hours and costs

Manage electronic job jackets/billing information

Develop your proficiency across all Mars internal workflow and financial management systems

Work effectively and efficiently with various internal departments

Maintain and update team reports, including weekly status, marketplace assessment, etc.

All other duties as assigned by Manager or Director

SKILLSETS REQUIRED:

Proactive nature in the seeking of work/responsibility

Dependability in execution of work and as member of assigned team

Enthusiastic, “can do” attitude in accepting work/new challenges

Desire to learn all aspects of the Ecommerce discipline

Effective interpersonal skills working well across functions

Conscientious work ethic

Bachelor’s degree in advertising, marketing, business or related field

Minimum of 3 years of shopper marketing, media or advertising experience, preferably agency experience in retailer promotions

Ability to manage time, adhere to strict timelines and work well under pressure

Detail orientation and ability to multitask across fluid workload

Strong computer skills and proficiency in Work, Excel, PowerPoint, Asana

Compensation Range: $49,305 - $71,645 annually. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. Temporary roles may be eligible to participate in our freelancer/temporary employee medical plan through a third-party benefits administration system once certain criteria have been met. Temporary roles may also qualify for participation in our 401(k) plan after eligibility criteria have been met. For regular roles, the Company will offer medical coverage, dental, vision, disability, 401k, and paid time off. Detroit: $49,305- $59,185

Chicago: $49,305- $65,415
