Job Description
My client is looking for a Jr. Structural Engineer to join their team. This is a hybrid role and long-term position. This person will assume responsibility for key aspects of projects and complete assignments with limited oversight, under the guidance of licensed professionals. My client specializes in seismic bracing and equipment anchorage in commercial structures.
Responsibilities:
Effectively perform as a team member during design and/or construction phases
In coordination with other disciplines, participate in team meetings to discuss project issues and technical issues
Demonstrate commitment to quality, innovation, learning and growth
Perform work in a manner that demonstrates an awareness of and an appreciation for the company’s cultural values
Develop and maintain a collaborative professional working relationship with the project team
Qualifications:
BS Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (MS Degree preferred)
1- 3+ years of structural engineering experience (can be college projects)
Previous experience with equipment anchorage a requirement
Proficiency in MS Office Suite required
Experience with structural analytical software
Excellent verbal and written English communication
Aptitude in problem solving and finding innovative solutions to problems
Team player
Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently
Ability to effectively meet deadlines
