A rapidly expanding healthcare organization with a national footprint is seeking an experienced and forward-thinking Controller to take the reins of its financial operations. This is a pivotal leadership opportunity for a strategic financial expert ready to build, scale, and optimize the financial foundation of a company that’s driving change in value-based care.

In this role, you’ll work closely with senior leadership to ensure financial accuracy, compliance, and transparency while identifying key opportunities to improve performance and streamline reporting. This is not just a seat at the table—it’s a chance to shape the table.

What You’ll Do

Lead and elevate core financial functions across the organization:

Oversee all accounting operations: general ledger, revenue recognition, AP/AR, inventory, fixed assets, and cash flow

Prepare, analyze, and interpret balance sheets, income statements, cash flow reports, and liabilities

Supervise and mentor accounting and finance staff, driving high performance and accountability

Collaborate cross-functionally to assess operational metrics, cost drivers, and performance trends

Implement and maintain robust closing processes, billing systems, and expense protocols in line with GAAP and SOX

Reconcile expenses and vendor contracts to ensure proper accounting and timely payments

Review monthly journal entries, variances, and close procedures with accuracy and timeliness

Manage budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling—tying projections to key operational KPIs

Design and deploy innovative financial reporting tools and dashboards

Lead internal audits, support financial risk assessments, and oversee tax preparation activities

What You Bring

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required

Master's degree preferred

7 years of full-cycle accounting experience—healthcare industry experience highly preferred

3 years of managerial or supervisory experience

Strong working knowledge of NetSuite and Microsoft Office Suite

CPA highly preferred
