Business Development Manager
Salary $120,000 - $140,000 + commission
Location: Remote, Charlotte, Chicago, Atlanta areas
PrideStaff is assisting a client based out of Ohio with a Business Development Manager opportunity. The BDM will be responsible for driving sales growth and building strong relationships with key accounts This role requires a dynamic, well organized, strategic thinker, and results-oriented individual with a deep understanding of the merchandising industry and a proven track record of sales growth success.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales Leadership: Drive the future growth of the business through strategic sales initiatives.
Client Engagement: Lead the business by building strong internal and external connections, influencing others through communication and collaboration.
Strategy and innovation: Lead through innovation, constantly looking to enhance processes and programs to remove complexity and add efficiency to sales initiatives.
Reporting and Forecasting: Track actual performance against expectations and modify strategies/plans in response.
Key Requirements:
12+ years of experience in merchandising sales, with a combination of experience spanning hardware merchandising sales
Proven experience with independent hardware, hardware CPG companies or merchandising sales
Knowledge and understanding of the independent hardware channel of customers
Proven ability to drive business growth and influence organizational direction
Strong communication, collaboration, and leadership skills
Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and managing product forecasting activities.
Solid analytical skills and acute attention to details
Strong project management skills
Self-motivated with a strong work ethic and exceptional drive for results
Advanced skills using Microsoft Word, Excel, and Power Point
Bilingual: Spanish/English a plus
Ability to travel up to 75%, including attending 10-12 tradeshows yearly. Company Description
