Engineering Project Manager
Position Summary:
Reporting to executive leadership, this role oversees end-to-end project management for system sales orders—from contract award through installation, startup, and commissioning. The Project Manager will act as the primary liaison with customers and internal departments to ensure successful execution of technical projects on schedule and within budget.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent work experience.
3–5 years of project management experience within a systems or capital equipment environment.
Strong communication, organizational, and cross-functional leadership skills.
Willingness to travel domestically or internationally based on project needs.
Key Responsibilities:
Interpret project scope and deliverables based on internal quotations, customer specifications, and purchase orders.
Serve as the main point of contact for all customer-facing communication throughout the project lifecycle.
Prepare and update software license agreements and addenda as needed.
Collaborate with system engineering teams to develop and track project timelines aligned with internal production and resource planning.
Monitor project budgets and resource allocation to ensure profitability and adherence to original cost estimates.
Coordinate internal departments (engineering, manufacturing, service) to meet project deliverables.
Manage technical documentation and customer submittals including RFIs, design approvals, and change orders.
Coordinate with external contractors and vendors when applicable.
Organize and lead customer site visits for FATs, training sessions, and project status updates.
Handle shipping documentation including packing slips, logistics, and customs paperwork.
Issue invoice requests and support revenue forecasting based on project milestones.
Maintain accurate project records in both physical and digital formats.
Participate in regular project reviews and site meetings as needed.
Ensure compliance with internal quality systems and health & safety standards.
Perform additional duties as assigned by leadership.
