The Maintenance Helper will perform required lubrication and greasing of bakery machinery and equipment as directed.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities: Performs lubrication and greasing of bakery machinery and equipment as directed.Ensure all work areas are clean, safe, and following company Good Manufacturing Practices.Work in a safe and efficient manner.Additional duties and/or responsibilities as assigned.Adherence to GFB Bakery Core Values.

Job Requirements: Must have strong mechanical aptitude.Experience in repair, assembly and disassembly of machinery.Understand principles of machinery lubrication and machinery operations.Ability to read and understand (English) written instructions and diagrams.Must have a cooperative behavior with ability to be a productive and safe employee.Safety First attitude with proven safe work practices, particularly with “Lockout-Tag out”Forklift license or ability to obtain one.Other lift certifications a plusAbility to work in high temperature environment.Must have a high school diploma or GED.Must be available to work any day and any shift, including holidays.Must be able to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen.Must have effective communication skills.
