Work Arrangement: This is a full-time, in-person role based at our Boston office. Candidates must be able to commute or relocate to the Boston area.

Reports to: Chief Financial Officer

Job Summary:

The Senior Director of Finance is responsible for leading the operations of the Finance team.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Manage financial operations of the company including accounts payable, accounts receivable, auditing, and accounting.

Providing leadership and direction to the finance team, fostering a culture of accountability and excellence.

Collect and analyze annual reports, procedures, system design, and other data useful to identify opportunities for improvement.

Makes recommendations and implements improvements that may include new practices, staffing, forms, reports, data collection, and systems.

Collaborates with employees to facilitate successful implementation of new systems and procedures.

Performs other related duties as assigned.

Ensuring compliance with all financial laws and regulations, including tax planning, compliance, and audits.

Responsible for information security by appropriately preserving the Confidentiality, Integrity, and Availability (CIA) of Markley Group information assets in accordance with the company's information security program

Qualifications and Skills

Minimum of Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Finance, Accounting, or related field, Master's degree and/or CPA preferred.

10+ years of demonstrable experience as a Financial Director, or in a senior finance leadership role.

Superior written and verbal communication skills.

Excellent analytical and creative problem-solving skills.

Possess strong leadership/management skills and business acumen.

Ability to miltitask, prioritize, and delegate reponsibilities in an effective and efficient manner.
