Sr. IT Auditor

Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Senior IT Auditor to join our team in Charlotte, North Carolina. In this role, you will assist clients in identifying and managing technology risks, improving efficiency, and ensuring compliance across various IT frameworks and systems. Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive IT audits to assess risks, evaluate controls, and ensure compliance with industry standards.

• Develop audit deliverables such as process flows, work programs, audit reports, and control summaries.

• Provide advisory services on IT frameworks, including cybersecurity, cloud auditing, data governance, and disaster recovery.

• Identify opportunities to enhance clients' technology performance and operational efficiency.

• Collaborate with clients to implement technology solutions that align with their business objectives.

• Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends to deliver innovative solutions.

• Lead or assist in audit engagements, ensuring quality and adherence to timelines.

• Evaluate the effectiveness of IT general controls and recommend improvements.

• Support clients in achieving compliance with regulations such as Sarbanes-Oxley and ISO standards.

• Foster strong client relationships and contribute to a positive team environment.• Minimum of 3 years of experience in IT auditing or related fields.

• Proficiency in IT audit methodologies, including developing audit plans and deliverables.

• Familiarity with internal control frameworks such as ISO 27001 and COBIT.

• Knowledge of Sarbanes-Oxley Act provisions and their technological implications.

• Understanding of cybersecurity compliance and data privacy regulations.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) or equivalent certification preferred.

• Experience working with clients in the financial services industry is a plus.
