Job Title: Machine Shop Support

Job Description

These roles include Paint Prep, Deburr Associate, and Ladder Assembler positions. The successful candidates will be trained in painting, cleaning, hanging, and maneuvering raw materials within the shop. Prior experience in manufacturing, general labor, carpentry, or construction is beneficial but not required, as training will be provided.

Responsibilities

Prepare surfaces and materials for painting using hand and power tools.

Deburr machined parts utilizing hand tools for smooth finishes.

Assemble ladders using basic carpentry skills and hand tools.

Maintain a clean and organized work environment within the shop.

Follow safety guidelines, including wearing steel-toed boots during ladder assembly.Essential Skills

Proficiency with hand and power tools.

Basic carpentry and mechanical skills.

Experience in manufacturing or production environments.

Ability to follow blueprints and instructions.

Strong attention to detail and quality control.Additional Skills & Qualifications

General mechanical knowledge.

Basic math skills.

Strong work ethic and team player attitude.

Previous experience in a machine shop setting is desired.

Work Environment

Our manufacturing environment can be noisy at times, with a casual dress code of jeans and t-shirts. The 1st shift runs from 5:45 AM to 2:00 PM for Paint Shop, and 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM for Ladder Assemblers, requiring steel-toed boots. The 2nd shift operates from 2:00 PM to 10:15 PM, Monday through Friday.Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $16.50 - $17.00/hr.
