nPerform the required routine Operations and Maintenance of the water treatment network.
Keep a large and complex treatment system running 24-7.
Operate and maintain pumping network as required to maintain site compliance.nJob ResponsibilitiesnnImplement McGeorge safety standards and practices.nOccasionally Saturday and Sunday will be required for this position.nKeep your work areas clean, organized, and safe.nWork in inclement weather.nOperate the treatment system without direct supervision.nLifting/moving equipment (50lbs).nPerform routine system maintenance/lubrication and repairs.nCollect accurate daily readings/data and record/maintain in your daily log.nKeep inventory logs on all chemicals needed and used on site.nCoordinate ordering and keep an adequate stock of all items needed to keep the system operational.nInspect the system or system features as required and maintain appropriate maintenance records.nPick up and deliver equipment.nOvertime work will be required as directed by site supervisor.nOperational requirements and deadlines are the responsibility of this position.
Deviations from these requirements/deadlines must have prior approval of the supervisor.nThe operator must perform his/her work as detailed by the supervisor, or as the scope of work dictates.nAll client work must remain confidential.nCommunicate regularly with the site supervisor.nOn call status will be required for this position.nOperate and maintain heavy equipment.nSteel welding and HDPE fusing experience is desired.
nnQualificationsnEducation: High School diploma or equivalency required.nSpecialized/Technical Knowledge (licenses or certificates):nnArkansas Industrial Operator License preferred but not required.
nSome environmental knowledge or experience preferred but not required.
nAny licenses or certificates would be beneficial.nCDL license preferred but not required.nnnType & Length of Experience: nnTreatment Plant Operations and Maintenance or general operations and maintenance preferred nWhile an Arkansas Industrial Operator License is preferred, it is not a requirement.
