Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Lease Administration Specialist to support a regional portfolio of approximately 400 records. The successful candidate will manage lease-related financial transactions, maintain accurate records, and serve as a liaison between landlords and tenants. A background in lease administration, accounts payable/receivable, and basic accounting is essential.
WKey Responsibilities:
Manage a portfolio of ~400 lease records
Process rent payments and supplemental/expedited payment profiles
Review and reconcile variance and aging reports
Address and resolve open queries
Track operating expenses in coordination with the Financial Analyst team
Monitor and log wire transfers and security deposits
Maintain detailed notes and documentation
Serve as the main point of contact for landlord/tenant relationship issues
Utilize lease management software to update and maintain accurate records
Prepare lease abstracts and financial reports
Conduct annual operating expense reconciliations
Support audit tracking based on lease requirements
Generate and distribute standard and ad hoc reports
Assist in financial analysis related to AR/AP, rent rolls, and budgets
Qualifications:
Required:
2–3 years of experience in lease administration, property management, or accounting
High School Diploma or GED
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Understanding of AP/AR processes and basic accounting principles
Excellent communication skills and strong attention to detail
Ability to analyze and solve problems in standard work situations
Preferred:
Experience with lease management systems (e.g., Co-Star, Salesforce)
Advanced Excel and reporting skills
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Real Estate
