Property Admin / Administrative Assistant (4-6 weeks contract)
The Property Administrator will support the day-to-day operations of a commercial real estate portfolio, with a strong emphasis on accounts payable functions. This role requires attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with property managers, vendors, and internal finance teams. This position is in Downtown Dayton and will last for approximately 4-6 weeks. The pay will be $21/hr. Parking is paid for.
Responsibilities:
Manage and process accounts payable invoices, ensuring accuracy and timely payment
Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies
Maintain vendor records and ensure compliance with company policies
Assist with monthly financial reporting and budget tracking
Support lease administration, including tracking critical dates and tenant correspondence
Coordinate maintenance requests and vendor services for properties
Maintain property files, contracts, and insurance certificates
Assist with tenant onboarding and move-out processes
Prepare and distribute tenant communications and notices
Provide administrative support to property managers and accounting teams
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred
Experience in commercial property management or accounts payable
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and property management/accounting software (e.g., Yardi, MRI)
Strong communication and problem-solving skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
