We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Warehouse Associate for a Temp-to-Hire position, with the potential to transition into a full-time position. In this role, you will perform both manual and clerical duties related to the shipment and receipt of materials, supplies, equipment, and finished products. Shipping and Receiving:

Receive, verify, and inspect goods and materials upon arrival, ensuring accuracy and quality.

Pick and pack materials for shipment, ensuring correct items are gathered and securely packaged.

Record and track received and shipped items according to company procedures and inventory systems.

Forklift Operations:

Safely operate a stand-up forklift to move and store materials in designated areas.

Assist with parts putaway and stock organization using RF/scan guns.

Inventory Management:

Utilize basic computer skills (email, MS Word, Excel) to track inventory and communicate shipping/receiving updates.

Ensure the timely routing of materials to inspection or stock areas.

Documentation & Reporting:

Complete written and computerized records for all incoming and outgoing shipments.

Maintain accurate logs of inventory movements and warehouse activities.

Safety and Compliance:

Maintain a clean and organized workspace in compliance with safety standards.

Adhere to all safety guidelines, including proper lifting techniques and equipment operation.Required Qualifications:

Experience:

At least 1 year of experience in warehouse or distribution operations, with a focus on shipping and receiving.

Stand-up forklift operation experience required; forklift certification preferred.

Experience with RF/scan gun technology for inventory management.

Skills:

Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.

Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.

Basic computer proficiency, including MS Word, Excel, and email.

Good time management skills, punctuality, and ability to meet deadlines.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to lift up to 50 pounds consistently.

Comfort with standing, walking, bending, and lifting throughout the workday.Desired Attributes:
