Responsibilities and Duties
• Set up and operate machine tools such as lathes, milling machines, and drill presses to produce
precision parts and components.
• Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications to determine the sequence
of operations and tolerances required.
• Inspect and document parts for conformance, clearly mark non-conforming items per SOPS
• Measure, examine, and test completed parts to ensure adherence to specifications using
precision measuring instruments such as micrometers, calipers, and gauges.
• Detect and resolve issues or malfunctions in the machining process, making adjustments or
modifications as necessary.
• Maintain and clean machines, tools, and work areas to ensure safe and efficient operations.
• Collaborate with engineers, designers, and other team members to optimize production
processes and improve product quality.
• Adhere to safety guidelines and regulations at all times.
• Learn and be responsible for basic setup procedures, perform basic maintenance, clean CNCs per
SOPs.
• Deburr or otherwise post process machined parts as required
• Saw cut, deburr, wash, or otherwise prep materials pre and post machining and Master CAM with basic programming experience
• Assist with any / all tasks in machining, sawing, or prep as required for production
Desired Qualifications
• 2 years' experience as a machinist
• Organization and efficiency; have a thorough understanding of how much time and labor is
required to perform specific tasks and duties
• Strong analytical, communication, and computer skills
• Must possess exceptional time and change management skills and be able to work towards tight
deadlines
• Lift up to 80lbs, transport / stock raw and finished materials in house
