Job Description
Responsibilities:
Works with Senior Project Managers to establish project staffing needs, team requirements, and other office administrative tasks such as hiring and manpower, quality assurance, office technology, and billing and cash flow.
Develops solutions and creates project designs and plans. Initiates and creates project designs and plans of all phases of one or more projects and has responsibility for preparing presentation and design drawings.
Participates in the design control of projects in the design development, documentation, specification, and supervision phases. Responsible for project budget management and cost control.
Provides direction to lower-level interior designers, including serving as the primary supervisor for those within the department as determined by the Director of Project Management and Executive team. Within this role, is responsible for employee utilization, performance reviews, employee goal setting, and intern development.
Maintains contact with relevant trade organizations, and product representation representatives to stay up to date on the most current material and product requirements.
Required Qualifications and Skills:
Design Degree
Registration as an Architect or Interior Designer.
Professional Certification (such as LEED AP, CSI, etc).
Ability to perform work as required, competence in the area of work, willingness to perform well in many aspects of practice, and reliability.
Work Authorization: Must be eligible to work in the United States
