Job Title: Inspector - 1st Shift

Job Description

Join an industry-leading manufacturer that is at the top of its market. This role is located at a full-cycle manufacturing plant. The Inspector role is crucial in maintaining quality standards for a wide range of clients in the automotive, commercial, and industrial sectors. Candidates will be using hand tools like micrometers, calipers and gages while also filling out inspection reports. Great opportunity with overtime, and room for advancement!

Responsibilities

Work alongside machine operators to inspect cut hoses.

Use micrometers, rulers, and visual inspection techniques to ensure accuracy.

Fill out inspection reports

Move between four machines, inspecting products at each station.

Utilize hand tools to trim frayed ends of hoses if necessary.Essential Skills

Minimum 1 year of quality inspection experience.

Stable work history .

Strong attention to detail.

Willingness to learn and be a team player.Additional Skills & Qualifications

Work Environment

The position is located in a large production facility with around 110 permanent employees working across three shifts. The dress code allows for casual attire such as jeans and t-shirts, with a uniform provided upon permanent employment. Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Suffield, Connecticut.Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $22.00/hr.
