ARGO Developer

Job Description

We are looking for a highly skilled ARGO Developer to join our team on a long-term contract basis in Cincinnati, Ohio. This role involves designing, developing, and integrating solutions for digital banking platforms, enabling seamless connectivity with core banking systems and third-party APIs. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in software development and a strong ability to work independently while maintaining clear and effective communication in a remote work environment.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement solutions for digital banking platforms, ensuring seamless integration with core banking systems and third-party fintech APIs.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to evaluate business and technical requirements, translating them into actionable designs.

• Design, build, and maintain APIs to enable secure and efficient data exchange across systems.

• Ensure code quality and functionality through rigorous testing, debugging, and validation processes.

• Utilize Agile Scrum methodologies to manage development cycles and deliver high-quality software solutions.

• Maintain comprehensive documentation for all development processes, ensuring traceability and compliance.

• Implement security measures and fraud prevention protocols to safeguard digital banking platforms.

• Optimize system performance and scalability through effective backend development techniques.

• Provide technical support and troubleshooting to resolve issues in a timely manner.

• Stay updated on the latest technologies and industry trends to enhance development practices.• Minimum of 6 years of experience in software development, with expertise in ARGO systems and digital banking platforms.

• Proven ability to integrate solutions with core banking systems such as Jack Henry, Fiserv, or similar platforms.

• Proficiency in programming languages including C++, ASP.NET, and Ajax, with hands-on experience in API development.

• Strong understanding of Agile Scrum methodologies and tools like Atlassian Jira and GitHub.

• Familiarity with bug tracking systems and AB testing processes.

• Knowledge of backend development and microservices architecture.

• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work independently in a remote environment.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
