Accounts Receivable Specialist

Job Description

Headfarmer is seeking an Accounts Receivable Specialist for our client in Scottsdale. Full time, Monday-Friday. Hybrid schedule after training.

Duties to include:

Accurately applying payments (ACH, wire, check) to interest, principal, fees, and other categories using loan servicing/accounting software.

Reconcile unapplied payments, track partial payments, and resolve payment discrepancies quickly and efficiently.

Generate and distribute monthly borrower statements, interest invoices, and delinquency notices.

Work closely with the Loan Servicing, Customer Service, and Underwriting teams to clarify balances, resolve disputes, and maintain account accuracy.

Prepare and analyze AR aging reports; contribute to internal reporting and cash flow projections.

Assist in the month-end close by reconciling AR balances and preparing journal entries as needed.

Support external audits and internal reviews with clean, accurate records.

Recommend process improvements to strengthen controls and efficiency in receivables and collections.

Qualifications:

3+ years of accounts receivable experience.

Strong attention to detail.

Experience with QuickBooks preferred.Company Description
