Position Overview:
Deliver assessment and treatment services for patients with speech, language, and swallowing impairments. Develop individualized therapy plans and implement therapeutic techniques. Support interdisciplinary collaboration and participate in clinical education. Travel to multiple facilities may be required.
Required Credentials:
Master's degree or higher in Speech-Language Pathology
Active speech pathology license
ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
Primary Duties:
Conduct detailed evaluations using department-approved methods
Design and execute treatment plans tailored to each patient's needs
Employ a variety of therapeutic approaches to enhance communication skills
Train patients and caregivers in therapeutic exercises and home programs
Evaluate patient progress and recommend discharge when appropriate
Maintain comprehensive and accurate documentation for clinical and billing purposes
Work effectively with physicians and healthcare professionals
Uphold ethical practices and ensure safety during treatment
Mentor clinical students
Engage in continuing education and departmental training sessions
