Contract Duration: 6-months

Worksite Location: Brooklyn Park, MN

Compensation: $37.00 - $67.00 per hour

What you’ll do as the Development Engineer:

Develop and test code to deliver functionality that aligns with overall business objectives

Implement features from the product backlog and estimate user stories

Write unit tests, develop automated test scripts, and perform testing tasks

Validate deliverables against acceptance criteria and contribute to project documentation

Collaborate closely with other teams to ensure features meet business needs

Follow agile software development methodologies and maintain development documentation

Work with infrastructure, security, and cross-functional teams to support development efforts

What you’ll bring to the Development Engineer role:

3+ years of experience in a software engineering role

1+ years of experience working in an agile development environment

Proficiency in Java and Spring Boot development

Experience with REST API and microservices deployment

Hands-on experience with Gradle, MongoDB, and Apache Kafka

Understanding of Agile methodologies and test-driven development

Strong experience with software test automation

Scrum certification is a plus

Familiarity with Kotlin or Micronaut is a nice-to-have
