Summary

As a Janitorial Operations Manager, you will oversee the cleaning and maintenance of facilities, ensuring a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene. Reporting to the Facilities Manager/property manager your core responsibilities include managing custodial staff, implementing cleaning protocols, and maintaining floor care. Your expertise in commercial cleaning and janitorial operations will be essential in optimizing workflow and ensuring compliance with safety regulations. Additionally, your relevant skills in facilities maintenance and industrial cleaning will enhance operational efficiency, making you a vital asset to our organization in delivering a pristine environment.

Job Description and Responsibilities:

Quality Control:

Oversee the quality of the nightly cleaning, and ensure that scope of work is being executed to customer satisfaction.

Work with staff proactively and reactively to address quality concerns.

Provide on site inspections to ensure that we are proactively working to provide a high level of cleaning.

Customer Communication/Account Management:

Act as a general point of contact to janitorial customers.

Communicate with customers to address client concerns, engage in customer walk throughs and on-site meetings to review cleaning operations.

Proactively engage with customers to “check in” to ensure customer satisfaction.

Actively oversee direct cost property budgets – man hours, and materials expenses.

Spearhead onboarding of new business.

Employee Management:

Assist in training, and coaching new employees, and provide continued proactive training to existing employees.

Actively communicate and manage front line staff – supporting in training, corrective action, scheduling, etc…

Miscellaneous:

Assist in supporting new business estimates.

Assist in supply deliveries.

Overseeing deep cleanings/project work.
