Property Maintenance Technician

Job Description

Property Owner looking for an Apartment Maintenance Tech to join our team for our properties in Columbus! You will be responsible for completing work orders and other required tasks.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Complete work and repair daily maintenance orders in a timely fashion

Daily duties include responding to work orders and completing unit turnovers

Repair window screens, hinges, door handles and locks (replace as needed), and closet doors

Drywall repair and touch up painting

Repair sinks, bathtubs and showers including repairs to sink plugs, drains, supply line connections and faucets

HVAC- change furnace filters, and help with upkeep of system

Keep grounds clean and free of debris

Qualifications:

Must have basic plumbing, electrical, drywall, and rough and finish carpentry skills

Knowledgeable with common work order repair issues found in apartments and homes

Strong communication skills and ability to complete work proficiently

Needs hand tools and vehicle (preferable truck or van)

Minimum 2 years maintenance experience required

HVAC certification/HVAC experience a plus
