Shipping & Receiving / Light Assembly

Job Description

We are seeking Shipping & Receiving / Light Assembly to become a part of our team! You will help coordinate incoming and outgoing shipments, quality control, as well as boxing / Palletizing

Responsibilities:

Unpack, verify and put away incoming shipments

Maintain a clean and neat shipping area

Manage the shipment and receipt of products, materials, and supplies.

Collaborates and communicates with customer service representatives and other involved in the shipment and receipt of products.

Maintains accurate shipping logs daily. Checking any interruptions in shipping.

Unload / load trucks

Light assembly of our product when needed.

Package boxes within the parameters of our standards to ensure no damage is incurred.

Quality Control

Maintaining correct amounts of shipping inventory.

Qualifications:

The use of common hand tools and occasionally sharp tools are involved

Knowledge of pallets and crates (not required but preferred)

Ability to move or lift 50 pounds often

Computer Literacy (i.e. uploading data into our server)

Knowledge of UPS Worldship

Must be able to sit, walk and stand for eight hours

Eye for detail is a must. Quality control
