Automation Engineer

Job Description

We are seeking a Controls Engineer to lead automation and controls projects supporting our Operations team. This role involves managing contractors, designing and programming control systems, troubleshooting electrical and mechanical equipment, and ensuring efficient, safe operations across our facility.

DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES

Ø Design and troubleshoot PLC and VFD systems (Allen Bradley)

Ø Design control panels and safety systems to automate operations that are currently manual/assembly.

Ø Lead equipment installs, power distribution planning, and root cause analysis

Ø Collaborate with mechanical engineers to modify machinery

QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS

v Associate’s Degree in Automation/Electrical (Bachelor’s preferred)

v 5+ years of related experience

v Strong knowledge of automating manual processes, and PLC (Allen Bradley) programmingCompany Description
