Fire Alarm Service Tech

Job Description

We are seeking a Fire Alarm Service Tech to join our team! You will service, install, and repair alarm system wiring and equipment.

Responsibilities:

Follow a routine schedule to install, service, and program new fire alarm, security systems, and other low voltage systems

Troubleshoot and resolve issues with low voltage systems (primarily fire alarm systems)

Identify risk to customers and provide effective solutions

Conduct routine preventative maintenance on alarm systems (Annual Inspections)

Monitor inventory of service parts

Actively communicate with the Service Manager throughout the day to schedule follow-up services, etc.

Qualifications:

Previous experience in fire/security installation, maintenance, or other related fields

Familiarity with hand and power tools, multi-meters, system testing tools

Ability to handle physical workload

Strong troubleshooting and critical thinking skills

Strong attention to detail

Strong communication skills

Effective customer support ability

Microsoft excel familiarity.Company Description
