Revenue Cycle Specialist

Job Description

SUMMARY: The Revenue Cycle Specialist (RCS) works as part of the Revenue Cycle department to ensure daily patient billing operations are completed in an effective and timely manner. This role involves managing the posting, processing, and submission of the company’s third-party medical claims to payors.

QUALIFICATIONS:

High School Diploma or GED equivalent; AA Degree in related field, preferred.

A minimum of two (2) year of medical billing and terminology experience; preferably in a Community Health Center setting.

Computer literate and proficient in Word and Excel

Must demonstrate strong multi-tasking, organizational, and detail-oriented skills.

Organized and structured

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

The ability to communicate effectively in person and on the telephone with other staff, public, the patients and the medical staff of the Community Health Center(s).
