Now Hiring: CNC Machinist Contract-to-Hire $27–$35/hr

Location: Palatine, IL

Shifts Available: 1st and 2nd

️Machines: Okuma, Mazak

What You’ll Be Doing:

Set up and operate CNC lathes and mills (Okuma/Mazak) to produce high-precision components

Read and interpret blueprints and engineering drawings to guide your setup

Align tooling, fixtures, and materials to match exact specs

Make machine offsets, tool changes, and adjustments to maintain quality and tolerances

Perform first-piece inspections and continuous in-process quality checks using calipers, micrometers, and height gauges

Troubleshoot programming, tooling, and setup issues

Keep detailed production and inspection records

What We’re Looking For:

3–5 years of CNC machining experience

Experience with Okuma, Mazak, or Haas machines

Willing and able to work 1st or 2nd shift
