Talent Corps, Inc. is seeking an experienced and skilled Pipe Fitter for an upcoming project. The ideal candidate will have a strong background as a commercial pipe fitter, including installation, maintenance, and repair work for large-scale projects. Location: Manassas, VA

What You’ll Do:

As a Welder/Fitter, you will:

Review drawings and fabricate pipe systems to spec

Perform layout, prep, fit-up, and welding of pipe and fittings

Support field installation and prefabrication work

Work alongside the field crew to complete quality installations safely and efficiently

As a Pipefitter, you will:

Measure, cut, thread, and install piping systems (Plumbing/HVAC)

Interpret blueprints and CAD drawings

Assemble pipe sections and components using tools and welding/brazing/soldering

Direct helpers and assist with rigging and layout work

What We’re Looking For:

5+ years (Welder/Fitter) or 3+ years (Pipefitter) in commercial construction

ASME Section IX Welding Certification (or ability to obtain)

Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, layouts, and drawings

Proficiency in reading blueprints, spool drawings, and isometric diagrams

Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license

Ability to work early morning shifts and occasional weekends

Comfortable with heights, confined spaces, and working in all weather conditions

Must be able to lift up to 50–75 lbs.

Preferred:

Experience on government, institutional, or large-scale commercial projects

U.S. Citizens (to qualify for secured government sites)

Rigging experience or training

Welding and layout skills using a wide range of materialsCompany Description
