QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum of 3 years commercial property experience managing retail, office, industrial

Attention to detail

Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills

Basic accounting skills and knowledge

Good organizational skills

Proficient in Yardi accounting software

Proficient with Microsoft Excel and Word

Flexibility to handle changing priorities and projects

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Travel: Property Site visits several times each week as necessary

POSITION SUMMARY:

Shames Makovsky Property Management is looking for an experienced manager who desires to be a member of a nationally recognized team of real estate professionals with over fifty years of experience within the Denver Commercial Real Estate market.

The position will be directly responsible for individual commercial office, retail, and industrial accounts providing property management services serving our clients and tenants and assist the DPM with day to day responsibilities including Accounts Receivable & Accounts Payable, bidding and contract administration, monthly reports, customer service and enhancing tenant relations.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Accounts Payable – approving invoices and verifying proper backup, forwarding to accounting for entering into payables system.

Accounts Receivable – review monthly billings, periodic tenant billings and subsequent collections of monthly tenant rent and other tenant receivables.

Complete monthly/quarterly reports for the DPM review.

Assist the DPM in the annual budget preparation and development.

Maintain all building and tenant files.

Maintain a professional image to internal and external callers. Delegate calls to appropriate internal personnel and service providers. Follow-up with tenants or the DPM as required.

Maintain Vendor Files, prepare Aging Reports on a monthly basis; maintain Certificates of Insurance for vendors/tenants, prepare Lease Abstracts for the DPM review.

Receive work order request by phone or in person and assign work to vendors or contractors as applicable.

Schedule building activity including move-ins / move outs; verify insurance.Company Description
