About the Role
We’re looking for an experienced and motivated Outside Sales Representative to join our team in Bakersfield. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in the field, building strong relationships face-to-face while actively hunting for new business opportunities.
This position is a 50/50 split between time spent on the road visiting clients and conducting site walk-throughs, and time spent in our Bakersfield office handling quotes, demos, and internal collaboration.
Applicants must have a minimum of 3 years of experience in Motorola two-way radio sales.

Experience with Avigilon, Verkada, DAS/BDA systems, access control, or video surveillance is a plus, but not required -we’ll provide training for the right candidate.
What You’ll Do
Identify and develop new business opportunities across public safety, education, utilities, healthcare, and commercial sectors.
Present and sell Motorola two-way radios, along with expanded solutions like video surveillance, access control, dispatch, and signal boosting.
Conduct site visits, walk-throughs, and product demonstrations with prospective clients.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing customers to ensure satisfaction and drive repeat business.
Collaborate with internal engineers and service teams to build and deliver complete system proposals.
Stay current with technology trends in wireless communications, security, and infrastructure.
Maintain accurate activity tracking and pipeline management in CRM.
What We Look For
A self-starter with a passion for technology and a hunter mentality.
3+ years of B2B outside sales experience in Motorola two-way radio (LMR) preferred.
Experience in video surveillance, telecom, or security systems is highly preferred.
Ability to engage confidently with decision-makers from C-suite to field operators.
Strong business acumen, strategic thinking, and a record of consistent performance.
Proficiency in CRM tools, quoting software, and basic proposal creation.
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience selling to government agencies, school districts, utilities, or healthcare institutions.
Familiarity with RF communications, DAS/BDA, LTE systems, or radio tower infrastructure.
Bachelor’s degree in business, communications, or technical field (preferred, not required).

What We Offer
Base salary: $65,000–$85,000 based on experience
Uncapped commission structure – high OTE potential ($100k+)
