Description
Maverc Technologies is seeking a highly skilled Senior Network Engineer to join our dedicated team. The Advanced Network Engineer supports MCTSSA operations through advanced network design, implementation, troubleshooting, and cybersecurity hardening of tactical and enterprise-level infrastructures
Key Responsibilities:
Design and implement LANs, WANs, and CANs
Analyze network traffic and application performance using packet analysis
Provide cybersecurity hardening using STIGs, ACAS, and patch management
Develop network baselines and modeling tools
Manage virtual systems and security platforms (e.g., Fortinet, Palo Alto)
Document and report network configurations and designs
Requirements
General Requirements:
U.S. Citizenship required
Secret clearance with NATO access (no interim)
Adherence to MCEN cybersecurity and operational policies
Strong technical communication and documentation skills
Minimum Requirements:
7+ years of network engineering experience
CompTIA Security+ or IAT Level II equivalent
CCNA certification
Wireshark Certified Network Analyst or RCPE Professional Packet Analyzer Plus
VMware experience (vCloud)
Microsoft Windows Server or Linux admin experience
Security boundary technologies (firewalls, IDS/IPS)
Desired Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in IT or related discipline
CCNP or CCDP certification
VMware Cloud Specialist certification
IPv6, Windows Server, and Linux certifications
Scripting proficiency (Perl, Python, PowerShell)
