Technical Requirements:

Design, deliver, and manager training programs to enhance employee performance, safety, and organizational success, focusing on knowledge transfer and skill development.

Assist in the planning and coordination of training events, workshops, and learning opportunities.

Create and maintain learning materials, including training outlines, scripts, manuals, job aids, and course materials.

Utilize various facilitation techniques to encourage active participation and collaboration during training sessions.

Strong project management skills to oversee training and mentorship program development, implementation, and evaluation.

Utilizes data analytics tools to measure training effectiveness, analyze trends, and make evidence-based decisions to improve training strategies.

Collaborate with internal teams, subject matter experts, and stakeholders to understand learning needs and ensure programs are aligned with business goals.

Acquire all necessary certifications to enhance skills and expand abilities to facilitate and manage additional classes as necessary.

Experience and Education

Bachelor’s degree in occupational safety, learning and development, education or a related field.

3-5 years of experience in safety training, learning and development, or related field.

Experience developing and delivering safety training programs in a construction or industrial setting.

Strong knowledge of adult learning principles and instructional design.

Familiarity with industry-specific safety regulations and compliance requirements.

Experience with learning management systems or other training tracking software preferred.

Interpersonal Acumen:

Facilitates effective communication across all levels of the organization to identify training needs and foster a culture of continuous learning.

Supports personal development initiatives and mentorship within the concrete division.

Leads by example, showcasing exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to mentor and teach with patience.

Acts as a point of contact for training-related questions, troubleshooting, and support.

Has the ability to listen actively and understand the perspectives and needs of others, fostering an environment of trust and open communication.

Provides guidance on best practices for visual communication and presentation design.

Demonstrates awareness and sensitivity to diverse cultures and backgrounds, promoting an inclusive and respectful learning environment.

Business Acumen:

Contributes to business growth by aligning training programs with strategic business objectives.

Demonstrates a commitment to continuous improvement across all levels and skillsets.

Exhibits creativity and resourcefulness in overcoming obstacles and finding effective solutions to challenges within the training domain.

Stays informed about industry trends, advancements in concrete technology, and competitive landscape to ensure that training content is relevant, up-to-date, and positions the company as a leader in its field.
