Key Responsibilities

Develop, evaluate, and improve manufacturing methods, processes, and workflows.

Support and implement continuous improvement initiatives across aerospace and defense production lines.

Collaborate with engineering, quality, and production teams to ensure manufacturability of components and assemblies.

Assist with the design and procurement of tooling and fixtures.

Review and interpret engineering drawings, customer specifications, and industry standards.

Ensure compliance with aerospace and defense quality and safety standards.

Troubleshoot production issues and implement effective engineering solutions.

Document procedures, process flows, and work instructions.

Participate in new product introduction and process validation activities.

Required Qualifications

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.

Experience:

Minimum of 2 years of engineering experience in a manufacturing environment.

Experience with aerospace and/or defense manufacturing is required.

Skills:

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Proficiency in CAD software and Microsoft Office Suite.

Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Working knowledge of lean manufacturing and process improvement tools.

Certifications:

None required, but certifications in Six Sigma, Lean, or related areas are a plus.

Preferred Qualifications

3–5 years of experience in a precision manufacturing environment.

Familiarity with AS9100 quality standards.

Experience with CNC programming, tooling design, or automation.
