Job Summary: Intern

The Intern will spend the summer gaining hands-on experience in the dynamic field of logistics while contributing meaningful projects within our organization.

Duties/Responsibilities:

Input and process shipping data correctly to maintain communication in the supply chain.

Manage daily 3PL shipping activities.

Communicate location updates and ETAs with Customer Service Team.

Create carrier base by onboarding and vetting carrier companies.

Collaborate with Operations Team to coordinate shipments, track deliveries, and optimize transportation routes.

Provide assistance to Customer Service Team by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring customer satisfaction.Required Skills/Abilities:

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Excellent customer service skills.

Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

Excellent time management skills and ability to multitask.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with rapidly changing priorities.

Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.

Education and Experience:

Currently enrolled in bachelor's or master's degree program in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or a related field.

Physical Requirements:

Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.

Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
