The Assistant High Risk Account Manager is responsible for assisting with managing a team of specialists and support personnel responsible for performing enhanced due diligence reviews to ensure compliance with the Bank Secrecy Act and Bank policy guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:

· Assists with day-to-day operations to ensure that objectives and deadlines are met including managing workflow, monitoring and reporting on performance, and assisting with processes and tasks as needed.

· Assists with managing and developing a team of specialists and support personnel; and provides input into personnel actions such as hiring, promotions, and disciplinary actions.

· Serves as an internal senior advisor, handling escalated issues and inquiries related to High Risk Account processes and procedures.

· Monitors and reviews accuracy of parameters used to define high risk customers and recommends adjustments as appropriate.

· Assists with quarterly risk rating and sorting of high-risk customers for EDD case assignment to ensure accuracy of risk rating modules and case assignment.

Competencies Required

· Proven ability to prioritize and manage workload in a fast paced, high volume environment and to instill a sense of urgency in others as necessary to meet deadlines.

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism while interacting with internal and external parties.

· Customer service orientation with strong analytical and problem solving skills.

· Strong attention to detail and high concern for data accuracy with the ability to accurately interpret and comply with federal regulatory guidelines.

· Comprehensive understanding of banking policies, procedures, laws and regulations as they relate to the Bank Secrecy Act.

· Good technology skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook, SharePoint portal), banking software applications (Mozart, Bancline), and the ability to navigate relevant government and regulatory websites.

· Motivated leader with strong people, process and program management skills.

Minimum Qualifications/Experience

· 3-5 years progressive compliance, risk management, or branch management experience.

· 2-3 years supporting Bank Secrecy Act compliance with experience in enhanced due diligence implementation.

· Supervisory or management experience preferred.

Formal Education & Certification

· High School Diploma or equivalent required.

· Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Banking, Finance or related field preferred.
