About the Job:
We’re looking for a driven, detail-oriented Recruiter to join our high-performing, high-volume recruiting team at Erie Home’s corporate headquarters in Toledo, Ohio. In this fast-paced role, you’ll play a vital part in helping us meet company-wide hiring goals by managing candidate pipelines, screening applicants, and ensuring a smooth, engaging experience for every candidate.
As a strategic partner to hiring managers, you’ll coordinate interviews, track recruitment metrics, and proactively address hiring challenges. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-moving environment, enjoys building strong relationships, and thinks creatively to attract top talent.

Responsibilities:
Review and process high volumes of applications with timely and professional candidate communication
Conduct thorough screenings with multiple candidate touchpoints
Coordinate interviews with hiring managers and ensure scheduling aligns with business needs
Provide updates on candidate pipelines, progress, and recruitment metrics
Maintain post-interview engagement and ensure a seamless transition to onboarding
Serve as the main liaison between candidates, hiring managers, and the Recruiting Manager
Stay up to date on hiring trends, market conditions, and candidate availability
Monitor candidate quality and adjust sourcing strategies as needed
Source passive candidates via LinkedIn, job boards, referrals, and networking
Develop creative sourcing strategies to attract top-tier talent
Support the recruiting team with additional responsibilities as needed
Benefits:
Base salary of $45,000 with monthly bonuses — first-year average compensation exceeding $55,000

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
Background in HR, recruiting, sales, customer service, or marketing, with strong interpersonal skills
Familiarity with ATS platforms and sourcing tools (e.g., Paylocity, LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed), including Boolean search
Strong organizational and data tracking skills using Excel, Google Sheets, or dashboards
Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities with candidates and hiring managers
Bilingual (Spanish) is a plus, depending on market needs
