Allegiance Staffing, who specializes in providing Staffing Solutions, is seeking experienced Welders skilled in MIG.

The ideal candidates will have a background in welding, skilled with MIG, TIG and stick welding.

The Welder is responsible for performing welding and fabrication tasks to construct and repair metal structures and components. This role involves working with various welding techniques and equipment to ensure high-quality and precise welds.

Job Description:

Perform MIG, TIG and stick welding tasks

Construct metal structures, including platforms, mezzanines and stairs

Cutting, shaping and welding metals

Use precise measurements, follow safety protocols

Read and interpret blueprints accurately

Maintain a clean and safe work environment

Inspect finished products for structural integrity

Collaborate with project managers and engineers to meet project specifications

Assemble fabricated components

Perform welding and fabrication tasks on metal structures and components according to blueprints and technical drawings.

Operate and maintain welding equipment, tools, and machinery.

Inspect and test welds to ensure they meet specifications and safety standards.

Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time and within budget.

Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.

Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to welding and fabrication processes.

Assist in the maintenance and repair of welding equipment and tools.

Document work performed and maintain accurate records of welding activities

Job Requirements:

3 years of experience in welding and fabrication.

Be able to lift 40lbs independently

Proficiency in various welding techniques (MIG, TIG, Stick).

Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.

Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

Physical ability to stand, bend, and lift heavy materials for extended periods.

Knowledge of safety protocols and procedures in a welding environment.

Ability to operate and maintain welding equipment and tools.

Knowledge of maintenance procedures for welding equipment.

Clean drug screen

Clean background check

Must own steel-toe boots.

Job Skills:

Proficient in MIG and TIG welding.

Ability to read and interpret blueprints.

Ability to operate and maintain welding equipment and tools.

Strong understanding of blueprints and technical drawings.

Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

Attention to detail and precision in welding tasks.

Compensation:

Pay Rate: $23-$26 per hour, based on experience.

Work Schedule:

Shift: 1st shift, 7:00 am – 4:00 pm, Monday-Friday.

Work Environment:

Not climate controlled
