We are seeking a Technical Release Train Engineer/Scrum Master to drive adoption of DevSecOps practices and culture of continuous improvement and delivery. As the RTE, you will provide support to technical leadership in implementing the technical direction at the team level while ensuring the teams/team members are postured to receive and implement the required objectives through a standard cadence for iterative execution and delivery. In addition, you will facilitate Scrum meetings, Scrum of Scrums, regular Team Exchanges, and all planning events; develop internal processes and assist all Stakeholders in delivering value.
What You'll Do:
Implement SAFe methodology with documented team processes in place to assist development and engineering teams
Oversee the design and development of automation workflow and ensure the overall quality of delivered components
Support the Teams in delivering their committed work in an iterative development environment
Provide support to Product Owners, Scrum Teams, and technical leadership
Update documentation and Standard Operating Procedures as required
Coordinate, plan, and participate in all Release Train activities
Assist teams in creating work structure to align with DevSecOps constructs, decomposition of Enterprise-level Requirements into MVP's for delivering incremental capabilities.
Participating in prime/customer meetings, including daily integration meetings with the scrum teams
Utilize communication and interpersonal skills to interact across the contractor and customer teams, communicating complex topics both up and down the chain
Serve as a mentor, teacher, and leader across multiple operations and maintenance pursuits and programs to provide lift to the entire team
Bring community knowledge and experience to serve as the focal point for customer interactions as you know how to listen and communicate with our customer
Provide strong analytical skills and a problem-solving mindset to directly support our warfighters
Contribute to and execute suitable release management procedures and provide production support
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Requirements:
Must possess Active TS/SCI Security Clearance with eligibility to attain CI Poly
Bachelor's degree with minimum of 9 years of relevant experience
7 years with Master's degree OR 4 years with PhD
At least 4 years of experience working within and leading agile teams
Experience with Agile project management tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence)
Experience with data pipelining concepts, tools, and technologies (e.g., ETL processes, data integration frameworks, cloud-based data services)
Strong communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills
Familiarity with Git and related workflows
Experience leading technical projects, including cloud development/adoption/migration
Desired Skills:
Experience with DevSecOps principles and practices
Experience with AWS Cloud with at least a Cloud Practitioner certification
Technical background in software development, cloud architecture, or data engineering
Strong understanding and experience with data pipeline/ETL projects
Experience with intel mission projects, especially MASINT
DoD 8570 certification (Security+, Cloud+ or other level 1)
SAFe certification (e.g., SAFe Agilist, SAFe Practitioner, SAFe RTE)
