We are currently seeking a Construction QA Specialist to join our dynamic team.Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced Construction QA Specialist who focuses on electrical systems to support our data center construction projects. This role plays a critical part in ensuring the quality, safety, and reliability of electrical installations, directly impacting the operational success of our data centers. The Construction QA Specialist will serve as an on-site resource, upholding our standards of excellence through proactive quality assurance practices.Essential ResponsibilitiesQuality Assurance & Inspections
Conduct daily field inspections to verify that contractor work complies with specifications and applicable codes.
Perform material inspections for compliance with project requirements and proper handling/storage.e
Participate in Work Completion Tagging, In-House Punch Lists, and Pre-Final Punch List processes
Coordinate and conduct off-site inspections of equipment as neededCompliance & Documentation
Implement and maintain site-specific Quality Control Plans
Maintain a detailed Quality Process Log
Review Subcontractor Quality Control Daily Logs
Track discrepancies, ensure corrective actions are implemented, and verify resolution before closure
Submit daily reports documenting QA/QC activities
Review and submit RFIs to ensure accurate field implementationCoordination & Communication
Receive and schedule subcontractor test and inspection requests
Audit subcontractor quality control procedures
Direct removal and replacement of non-conforming work
Halt work that does not meet contract requirementsRole Requirements
Minimum of 5 years of construction experience, with 2+ years in QA/QC roles preferred
Strong background in electrical systems, ideally within data center construction
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and codes
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Proficiency in documenting findings and reporting to stakeholders
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, 100% field-based environment
Proven ability to drive results in a high-performance, continuous improvement environment
Adaptability and a proactive, positive attitudeQualifications
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field preferred, with a strong emphasis on data center electrical systems.
Relevant professional experience may be considered instead of formal education for candidates with extensive expertise in data center electrical systems and quality assurance.
Proven experience in electrical quality assurance, ideally in data center construction
In-depth knowledge of industry codes and standards (e.g., NEC, IEC, IEEE)
Familiarity with quality management systems and related processes
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills
Must possess a valid driver’s license and maintain a satisfactory driving record per company policy
Must pass a drug test, background check, and physical by company policy
