GPS is currently hiring a Logistics Coordinator/CSR for an immediate opportunity in Orangeburg, SC.

What you will do:
Inbound and Outbound Coordination: Manage Full Truck Load (FTL) and rail logistics.
Proof-of-Delivery: Obtain and organize delivery confirmations.
Shipment Monitoring: Track deliveries, and address discrepancies/issues.
Issue Resolution: Collaborate with partners to implement corrective actions.
Delivery Requirements: Maintain accurate ship-to-delivery details.
Delivery Extensions: Coordinate with receivers for delayed shipments.
Delivery Scheduling: Monitor inbound inquiries via email and phone.
Freight Quotes: Request, analyze, and code pricing from Logistics vendors.
Invoice Processing: Handle Logistics invoices and internal tracking.
What you will need:
Education: Associate degree preferred or equivalent business experience.
Experience: 1-2 years in a corporate environment (preferred).
Software Proficiency: Strong MS Office skills, especially Excel, Access, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, MS Teams, and Oracle ERP experience is a plus.
Inventory Systems: Competency in working with inventory software.
Communication: Effective verbal and written skills, adaptability in communication styles.
Analytical Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities.
Organization: Detail-oriented and highly organized.
Initiative: Proactive and willing to learn from others.
Team Player: Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced team environment.
