Job Description

The robotic welder operator's job is to operate a robotic welding system to fabricate or repair metal parts. They set up the robot, program it, and monitor the welding process.

Responsibilities:

Set up the robot: Assemble parts to fixtures, and bolt or clamp them into place

Load and unload materials: Bring materials to and from the robot

Monitor the welds: Check the quality of the weld and make adjustments as needed

Perform maintenance: Keep the robot and its equipment in good working order

Rework parts: Fix any parts that need it

Follow safety protocols: Ensure the welding process is safe

Qualifications and Requirements:

At least one year of prior robotic welding experience

Excellent oral and written communication skills

Strong desire for continuous improvement and learning new skills

Ability to cross train on press machines

Problem solving skills

Ability to pass pre-employment drug screen & background screening

In the spirit of pay transparency, we want to share the base salary range for this position is $17-18 an hour, not including benefits, potential bonuses or additional compensation. If you are hired, your base salary will be determined based on factors such as individual skills, qualifications, experience, and geographic location. In addition, we also believe in the importance of pay equity and consider the internal equity of our current team members as a part of any final offer. Please keep in mind that the range mentioned above is the full base salary range for the role. Hiring at the maximum of the range would not be typical in order to allow for future & continued salary growth.
