SUMMARY

This position will provide executive leadership and direction to Havtech Service, LLC across multiple markets including MD, VA, DC, and PA. Key leadership responsibilities for this growing business include driving profitable growth, expanding our existing customer base, fulfillment/operational excellence, hiring top talent and reinforcing our culture of safety first, exceptional customer service, high performance and accountability.

Products and services supported by Havtech Service, LLC includes equipment start-up, commissioning, repair service, maintenance contracts, controls, modifications and other innovative customer solutions.

We are seeking a candidate with a strong leadership presence, proven success motivating a talented team, a track record of exceeding goals and that understands the value of creating great customer experiences.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other functions may be assigned.

P&L responsibility with accountability for significant year-over-year growth.

Maintain proper staffing levels for the team through labor forecasting.

Through training and development, ensuring the capabilities of the Service Team reflect the expertise required to deliver great customer experiences and innovative solutions around the services offered.

Expand existing customer base; collaborate with the sales teams to exceed sales goals and address fulfillment challenges as they arise to ensure long lasting relationships will our customers.

Support Equipment Sales to drive brand value for all manufacturers represented.

Meet growth goals while managing relationships with Equipment customers.

Reinforcing our high standards as it relates to hiring, performance management and creating an environment employees can thrive in.

Resolve customer issues. Reinforce our culture of exceptional customer service, through transparency, collaboration and continuous improvement.

Understand and measure key metrics driving business success and proactively address gaps or negative trends impacting the performance of the business.

Timely management of contracts through review and adjustment in order to maintain and improve profitability.

Oversee field productivity goals and quality assurance to ensure the ongoing success of the Service department.

Coordinate with business counterparts to drive overall growth, ensure profitability and reinforce our reputation of customer service excellence.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

This position has direct supervisory responsibilities.

QUALIFICATIONS

MBA preferred. Bachelor’s degree and 7+ years of progressive HVAC industry experience required, or an equivalent combination of education and work experience. Commercial HVAC experience required.

Previous P&L management experience.

Outstanding leadership skills and team building abilities – strong interpersonal skills to build and maintain rapport and positive working relationships with customers, suppliers and internal stakeholders.

Excellent communication, financial acumen and business development skills.

Experience managing commercial service operations and knowledge of HVAC products. Leadership in a union environment is preferred

Must possess field expertise, HVAC sales experience, and cost accounting experience.

Must have basic PC experience in Windows environment, working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook), Web-enabled applications and database software.

Ability to use service management software and financial accounting software.

Master’s HVAC license in MD, DC, PA, WV or VA is highly desirable but not required.

30% travel required
