Sanitation Technician

Summary:

Our client is a food services company that specializes in high quality dairy products. They are currently looking for a Sanitation Technician to join their team. In this role this person would be responsible for operating and maintaining the cleaning systems used in the manufacturing process. The primary duty for this role is to ensure that the systems are effectively cleaning and sanitizing equipment to meet quality and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Operate systems to clean and sanitize production equipment according to standard operating procedures.

Monitor processes, including temperature, pressure, and flow rates, to ensure proper cleaning and sanitization.

Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of systems to ensure they are functioning effectively.

Follow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others.

Keep accurate records of activities, including cleaning cycles, chemical usage, and equipment performance.

Coordinate with production and maintenance teams to schedule cycles in a timely manner to minimize downtime.

Report any issues or deviations in performance to the appropriate personnel for resolution.

Follow company policies and procedures related to hygiene, quality, and safety standards.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent.

Previous experience in operating systems in a manufacturing environment is preferred.

Basic understanding of cleaning chemicals, sanitation processes, and equipment operations.

Strong attention to detail and commitment to ensuring cleanliness and quality standards are met.
