Electrical Engineer

Selectek is currently partnering with a small but expanding architectural firm in Rome, GA, that is building a new Engineering Division. They are actively seeking a skilled Electrical Engineer with a background in power and lighting design to join their growing team. This role offers a unique opportunity to help shape the engineering arm of the firm and contribute to a wide variety of impactful projects.

Key Responsibilities:

Design electrical systems including power distribution and lighting for commercial and institutional buildings

Collaborate with architects and engineering staff on integrated project development

Produce construction drawings using Revit

Work on projects including pediatric clinics, veterinary hospitals, multifamily housing, and government facilities

Ensure code compliance and maintain quality standards across all design phases

Participate in meetings and coordinate with stakeholders and project teams Required Qualifications:

5+ years of experience in electrical power and lighting design

Proficiency in Revit drafting software

Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with diverse project teams Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor s degree in Electrical Engineering

Licensed Professional Engineer (PE)

Experience with projects in medical, animal health, hospitality, government, or commercial sectors Additional Information:

This firm is based in Rome, GA, but is open to candidates from surrounding markets such as Cartersville, due to the niche nature of the role

They are flexible on years of experience and open to younger candidates with the right skill set and ambition

This is an exciting opportunity to help launch and shape a new engineering function within a supportive, architecture-driven environment Pay Rate: $85,000 - $95,000
